Overview

 

The FIBA Certified Wealth Management Associate course is designed for entry-level relationship managers and support staff. The program provides an introduction and overview of the business of wealth management, as well as an in-depth review of financial markets and instruments, wealth management products and operational and regulatory requirements. The course also introduces the participants to the concept of wealth planning and portfolio construction. As the business of wealth management continues to grow, professionals in the field must demonstrate increasing competence in a wide variety of disciplines. At the same time, financial institutions need to protect themselves and their clients by ensuring that their client-facing staff understand both financial markets and the products and services that they sell.

 

Eligibility/Preparation

 

Candidates must be currently employed in the financial services industry.
