Act as a thought leader and advocate for the financial services industry to protect the global financial system from money laundering, terrorist financing and cyber-attacks while providing a forum to educate, inform and connect the global community

FIBA is composed of Eleven Committees

In an effort to identify and address specific issues within each functional area of financial institutions, FIBA has developed 11 different committees that members can become a part of. Committee activities include drafting position papers and comment letters, forming task forces to deal with specific events, inviting guest speakers on a topic of interest, or recommending training programs for professional job development.

AML Compliance

Works to advance and promote FIBA members BSA and Compliance skill set through facilitating discussion and support on current and developing industry Anti-Money Laundering, compliance, and regulatory concerns, expectations, and practices


Assists and works with socially oriented organizations in South Florida to improve the quality of life for the disadvantaged, the sick and the poor in our community


Offers meaningful and timely educational and training programs for professionals in the financial services industry through direct programs and in cooperation with universities and colleges, as well as other educational institutions and trade associations on topics of mutual interest


Promotes innovation among FIBA members, serving as a resource, facilitator and thought leader to address a broad range of financial information technology-related opportunities and issues of interest to FIBA members


Promotes, supports, and advances the legislative and regulatory objectives of FIBA


Retains, grows and diversifies membership in line with changing times and environment by demonstrating relevance and contribution to the financial industry


Promotes the professional development of young professionals in the financial industry through a series of FIBA networking and educational events and related industry activities


Provides a forum for members to discuss operational and technological issues of mutual concern, share best practices and experiences and identify industry needs in order to provide ongoing development and training to ensure and protect our banking industry


Acts as a catalyst for growth of Regional Trade activities by sharing innovative ideas and supporting business development efforts within our Community, while encouraging and helping educate its members on “Best Practices” in the fields of Trade and Finance Services


Acts as a sounding board for all members, providing Wealth Management Services in a bank, a broker, a family office, an insurance provider, holistically looking at the international client


Develops and promotes leadership for women in the financial services industry through professional development, mentoring and networking
