5 Easy Steps for FIBA’s Certification Process
Earning the FIBA’s Certifications will enhance your compliance career and practical knowledge to make you more marketable in your industry. Follow the simple steps below to enroll in the certification of your choice and to begin the process:
Step 1 – Registration
Review the course competencies for each program to determine the best-fit certification for your career. You may also request information from a FIBA certification expert who can assist you and answer any questions you may have.
Once you’ve decided which certification is best for you, visit our training calendar to review our courses and dates. Before using our convenient registration system to enroll – please sign in or create your own FIBA registration credentials. Then proceed by selecting your course and completing your registration.
Step 2 – Process Payment
Review FIBA’s course pricing for the certification or class of your choice. Upon registration, you will have the option to complete the payment. All payments must be made prior to the date your course begins.
Participants may process payment by:
- Credit Card
- Wire Transfer
Step 3 – FIBA Confirmation and Certification Materials
Once you have successfully registered, you will receive a confirmation email with detailed instructions on program guidelines, credit card authorization and reading materials (if applicable). All messages will be sent to the email you listed when you created your profile and registered.
You will also receive FIBA’s payment and cancellation policy. Enrollment is only guaranteed upon receipt of payment.
Step 4 – Course Logistics
On the date the course begins, participants will:
• Online – receive login instructions from FIU to grant access to Blackboard’s Learning Management System (the platform where the course is hosted).
• In Person – attend the 2-day, 16-hour program at the assigned site.
Both online and in-person formats require all participants to complete a certification exam during the 90-day period that begins on the start date of the course. Please note that learners who miss or fail the exam are subject to a $200 fee to regain access to the exam.
Step 5 – Certificate of Completion
After the successful completion of the course and a passing score on the final exam, participants will receive a certificate. All certificates are sent via email and standard mail. We also encourage all completers to list the credentials on their signature line and business cards. For example – John Doe, AMLCA or CPAML.
